Yesterday I posted a diary on dKos which discussed recent Texas polling and linked directly to cities which have events on May 10th in conjunction with Barack Obama's General Election Campaign Kick Off Voter Registration Drive. At the bottom of that diary, I posted stats next to the cities in question, and I'm happy to tell you how big those numbers have swollen.
Houston went from 71 to 77!!
Austin went from 47 to 88!!
Dallas went from 59 to 130!!!
San Antonio went from 17 to 44!!!!

We need events in Denver, Cleveland, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, West Virginia, Pittsburg, Baltimore, and Boston to name a few. Many of these events are organized locally with local elected officials and coordination with your local party. It's not too late to step up... take the lead today.

There were 10's of 1000's of Obama Precinct captains, and many many Caucus Delegates. We've poured our wallets out, our hearts out, our fingers out in support of Barack.
make no mistake, May 10th, the General Election Campaign kicks off, and the Press Release from this event will be monumental. There will be over 100 events with 1000's of participants registering 100,000's of new voters in a single day... and that's just the start. When you start this in May, you build a team, organize city by city a corps of Registars who will continue these efforts through the summer and fall into election season.
Step up today. It's probably the most important thing you'll do all day for your country and for Barack!
